harbour is located in  the Kandekkadu gap of Chellanam Panchayath in Ernakulam District.  Latitude of the site is 9^o 58’ North and longitude is 76^o 16’ East.  The site is 250 mtr. west of Thoppumpady Chellanam State Highway and 8.5km. from the N.H 47 at Eramalloor junction.  The nearest railway station is at Thuravoor, which is 6 km south of the site.
