harbour is located in the Kandekkadu gap of Chellanam Panchayath in Ernakulam District. Latitude of the site is 9o 58’ North and longitude is 76o 16’ East. The site is 250 mtr. west of Thoppumpady Chellanam State Highway and 8.5km. from the N.H 47 at Eramalloor junction. The nearest railway station is at Thuravoor, which is 6 km south of the site.
